When You Think Hope Is Lost

You never know what love really meant,

Until you lost everything
That was in connection with it,

The hope that you once knew
And hold to be true,

Was washed way with the rains
Of endless pain,

You try to pick yourself up again
But you fail endlessly,

So you think that there is no more
Hope in this world today,

But just stop and listen
To what your heart has to really say,

And look around at the real world
That you see everyday,

And you will find hope
Within the world's ever lasting days,

Because hope is what keeps
All of us going everyday.
