The Last Unicorn

Through the darkest of the forest,
As the first rose blooms
under the mist of the morning,
As every life wakes up
to reveal a new day just beginning,
Filled with the laughter of a new born girl,
Just beginning her new life in this world,
While the wind blows
a soft calm lullaby melody,
As the sounds of the spring water
echo through out the forest entirely,
And in the distance
something glimmers so brightly,
A glimmer that you have never
seen anything like it before,
You think that an angel
has fallen from heaven onto this world,
But what you see isn't a fantasy,
But is life being born,
The life of the last unicorn.
