THE MIRROR OF MAYBES AND NEVERS

I sit here watching you through the night,

Watching through this mirror that you hide behind,

And seeing how you cry endlessly,

Thinking that you aren’t good enough for anyone’s heart,

Wishing you wasn’t alive to feel all the pain inside,

As the storms in your past rage so far out of control,

You are afraid to fight the things before and let anyone in,

Memories have left you broken and the scars have never healed,

The emptiness in you is growing so little left to feel,

You are too tired to really notice what’s right in front of you and move on,

In your mind its dark and cloudy all the time,

Looking for a way to crossover and leave everything behind,

But you are afraid to fight for that life that you are given,

Because you have stayed hidden from the world outside,

Hidden behind the doubts of the mirror of maybes and nevers...............
